What does it mean when an item is on Back-Order?

Popular items can sell out quickly and may be temporarily out of stock. This means the items are currently out of stock but shipments are being made to replenish our warehouses. Ordering an item that is currently out of stock is a worry-free way to ensure you'll be first in line for new inventory and that the item you ordered will be shipped to you as soon as we receive it!
